Every tram is fitted with passenger emergency call points linked directly to the driver.

	All platforms are equipped with a passenger emergency call point which provides direct contact with the Metrolink control room.
	All stops are monitored by closed circuit television (CCTV) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
	The Metrolink system is regularly patrolled by the Metrolink unit of Greater Manchester Police and Metrolink staff.
