As part of our work to convert the former Oldham loop rail line to Metrolink we are submitting a planning application for a ’temporary’ stop at Oldham Mumps, close to the site of the former Mumps railway station.
This temporary stop will be in place until the permanent stop is built on Union Street as part of the future Metrolink extension through Oldham town centre. The temporary stop will then be fully removed.
We are holding an information event for local residents to meet the Metrolink team and to find out more about the extension to Oldham and our plans for the temporary stop at Oldham Mumps. You will be able to view plans and speak to team members on a one-to-one basis about the project.
