Question:

I travel from Rochdale and my train tickets states the destination as Manchester Stns. Can I use this ticket on Metrolink in the city centre?

Answer:

The ticket must state the destination as Metrolink CTLZ. Ask when purchasing your rail ticket for a Metrolink add-on stating your destination. This costs no more, but allows you to travel in the City Zone on Metrolink.
