The Metrolink expansion continues with services now running into Oldham town centre, with four brand new stops being added to the Oldham Rochdale line.
Metrolink opens up Oldham to a range of new visitors with potential destination including Oldham Coliseum, Gallery Oldham, The Spindles Shopping Centre, Tommyfield Market and a fabulous range of independent retailers.
The completion of the line also brings Oldham closer to the vast array of places in Greater Manchester already served by the Metrolink network from the Etihad Campus and Old Trafford to city-centre shopping and great local markets at Bury and Ashton.
Venture further afield on the network to Chorlton and Didsbury for a wealth of independent retailers, cafes and restaurants and over to MediaCityUK the new home of the BBC and ITV.
Trams are now running every 12 minutes from Oldham onto Rochdale and into Manchester city centre with journey times much quicker than the equivalent peak journey times by road.

The Park & Ride facilities are for the use of Metrolink customers only and your tram tickets must be shown when requested.
It takes much less time than the equivalent peak-time journey by road.
Compared to the cost of fuel and parking, travelling by Metrolink represents great value – adult return ticket from only £3.80 off-peak and child return ticket from only £1.70 off-peak into the city centre.
With services running every 12 minutes* to and from the city centre, your next tram is never far away.
