Metrolink travel offer for Armed Forces Day, Saturday 24 June

Metrolink is once again marking Armed Forces Day by offering free travel to veterans and current members of the armed forces on Saturday 24 June.

The free Metrolink travel offer is valid on the day by presentation of a veterans badge or relevant current military pass.

 

Events to mark Armed Forces Day are taking place right across Greater Manchester and you can see if there’s an event in your area here.

 

Metrolink is the perfect way to travel to Manchester City Council’s free event in St Peter’s Square from 11am to 4pm, featuring family-friendly activities, live music, and food and drink stalls.

 

The new-look expanded Metrolink stop in St Peter’s Square offers more frequent city centre services than ever before.

Metrolink is proud to support our armed forces past and present in recognition of their service at home and abroad.

 

Last year, we announced free Metrolink travel all year round to any in-uniform service personnel or reservist by them simply presenting their military pass.

 

There are some changes to Bury and Rochdale via Oldham line services on Saturday due to improvement works so if you're travelling on these lines please find out more.
