How do I join the travel club?

Existing customers

Existing customers do not need to re-apply for membership unless they have been a member for more than 5 years. If your membership is more than 5 years old please re-submit a new application form with an up to date passport sized photo.

You can continue to use your card in the usual way by showing it to your chosen retailer when purchasing your Season ticket from any PayPoint outlet (including Travelshops) or entering your details at our secure buy-online facility.

New customers

It is free to join the Metrolink travel club, and new customers can sign up by submitting a completed application form together with a recent passport sized photo either:

  • By post to Metrolink Ticket Services, Travelshop, 108 Church Street, Eccles, Manchester, M30 0AB
  • or in person at Travelshops.

Application forms can be downloaded from here , or picked up at any travelshop or booking offices at staffed rail stations.

TFGM will no longer accept personal cheques over the value of £50.00

TFGM will not accept business cheques unless accompanied by a company letterhead with company registration details and after TFGM verification

Nb: Lost or stolen 28 day Buscard Extra cannot be replaced.

Child Tickets

Under 16's - The Metrolink Saver (Child) Season Ticket is available to anyone in possession of one of the following:

  • An igo pass
  • Other proof of age that includes a photo id

To obtain these you will need proof of your date of birth e.g. from your birth certificate or a passport.

Once you have your Membership Card you will be able to use it at any ticket machine, TravelShops or one of the hundreds of PayPoint outlets across Greater Manchester to buy your Season Ticket.
