How do I Join the Travel Club?

Existing customers

Existing customers do not need to re-apply for membership unless they have been a member for more
than 5 years. If your membership is more than 5 years old please re-submit a new application form with
an up to date passport sized photo.

You can continue to use your card in the usual way by showing it to your chosen retailer when
purchasing your Season Ticket from any PayPoint outlet (including GMPTE travelshops ) or entering your
details at our secure buy-online facility.

New customers

It is free to join the Metrolink Travel Club, and new customers can sign up by submitting a completed
application form together with a recent passport sized photo either:

• By post to Metrolink Ticket Services, GMPTE Travelshop, 108 Church Street, Eccles,
  Manchester, M30 0AB
• or in person at GMPTE Travelshops.

Application forms can be downloaded from here , or picked up at any GMPTE travelshop or booking
offices at staffed rail stations.

Metrolynx Tickets

U-16's or U-19's in fulltime education - The Metrolynx (Child) Season Ticket is available to anyone
in possession of either of the following photo cards:

• a GMPTE Under 16 ID card or
• a GMPTE 16-19 Scholar's Permit

To obtain these you will need proof of your date of birth e.g. from your birth certificate or a passport.

Once you have your Membership Card or U-16/19 photo card you will be able to use it at any of the
hundreds of PayPoint outlets across Greater Manchester to buy your Season Ticket.
